Being fully autonomous the RM21 is designed for use by many customer types, including sports pitches, golf courses, racecourses, solar farms, estates and orchards.
The RM21 mower features an intelligent control system, pure electric drive, and comprehensive safety features. With its large-capacity battery maximising mowing efficiency, the RM21 saves time and money, freeing up resources for other tasks.
High Performance
Eco, Normal and Power blade mode, adjustable mowing speeds and cutting heights from 20 to 127mm (0.8 to 5”), with high capacity batteries providing 13,000 sq m per charge.
Maximum Safety
360° LiDAR real-time object detection constantly monitors the surrounding area. Additional safety includes Smart Path Planning, collision bumpers, and controllable lights to make it more visible in the dark.
Charging Station
The RM21 automatically returns to the charging station for auto-recharging when the battery life is low, reducing the need for manual intervention and improving working efficiency.
Radio RTK Station
The RM21 Mower can operate from a mobile RTK service (annual fee applies) or supplied with a Radio RTK station to produce centimetre-level positioning accuracy and zero ongoing fees
Intuitive Interaction and Simple Operation
The bespoke tablet:
- Offers ready made templates for quick and easy marking of all standard sports layouts
- Supports multiple map creation methods to meet customised marking needs with no additional cost
- Identifies the starting point automatically for marking without manual intervention
- Resumes marking from where it is left off for continuous workflow
The RM21 rotary mower operates with a choice of Eco, Normal and Power blade mode, mowing speeds and cutting height adjustability from 20 to 127mm (0.8 to 5”). Paused and completed operations are all recorded; with the user able to select an interrupted operation and click ‘Continue’ to pick up from where it was paused or select a completed operation and tap ‘Restart’ to perform the operation again in full.
Charging can be carried out manually via mains connection and the included charging station. The station enables users to benefit from 24/7 operation as the RM21 Mower will return to it for charging when the battery is low, before heading back out and picking up where it left off without manual intervention, significantly improving work efficiency.
Safety is paramount for autonomous operation; 360° real-time object detection is provided by LiDAR to constantly monitor the surrounding area, detecting obstacles and ensuring there are no blind spots. Smart Path Planning uses built-in object avoidance to automatically plan mowing paths, helping prevent collisions and damage to make mowing safer and easier. In addition, the RM21 features collision bumpers, lift protection, and rain monitoring, plus controllable lights to make it more visible in the dark.
